In life, there are moments when the heart overcomes reason. For us, that moment arrived after years of personal and professional experiences, when we looked back and realized that a shared dream had been quietly left at the bottom of the drawer.
Pian delle Vette is the result of that dream, revived and brought to life by Walter, Egidio, and Alessandro. Three individuals, each with distinct paths and personalities, united by a deep-rooted passion for the land, the territory, and wine. Together, we created a small winery with one clear mission: to be a pure and authentic expression of our mountain terroir, far from trends and mass-market standardization.
Located at 600 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Vette Feltrine in the heart of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, the winery reflects the essence of the high-altitude environment that shapes our wines. This project is the deliberate outcome of a moment of beautiful irrationality — a bold and risky choice that has become the salt of our lives.
Today, we proudly call ourselves the three Mats of Pian delle Vette, turning passion into bottles, and sharing the soul of the mountains through every sip.
Pian delle Vette - Cantina di Montagna grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamaret at 600 meters above sea level in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, crafting both elegant sparkling and expressive still wines.

Mat'55 Blanc de Blancs (Chardonnay) – 36 months on lees
