PIERINIeBRUGI

The Brugi maternal grandparents, who owned several plots of land in the municipality of Scansano for vineyards, olive groves, and cattle breeding, bought Podere Belvedere in the 1950s. They planted their first olive groves and vineyards, eventually producing Morellino di Scansano. On the paternal side, the Pierini family sold lands near Poggioferro, investing the proceeds in buying Poggio Lombardo, focusing on olive groves, cereals, and cattle breeding. By the 1990s, the two sides of the family merged their resources, creating a single company called "PIERINIeBRUGI." Livestock was phased out, and a stronger focus was placed on quality crops and direct consumer contact.

The family vineyards are located in the heart of Montecucco DOCG, geographically positioned between the Morellino di Scansano DOCG and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. They produce various organic products, including Montecucco DOC and DOCG wines, olive oil, saffron, jams, and other organic goods. The wines include:
