Eccezionale!!!

ci siamo recati come gruppo di amici per degustare i vini di questa cantina non rivolta alle grandi quantità, ma alla QUALITÀ. I proprietari molto coinvolgenti e simpatici, ti fanno anche la degustazione in maniera eccezionale come passaggio da bottiglia in bottiglia. Altro punto meritevole: talmente premurosi che le bottiglie non ancora disponibili, fanno assaggiare vini presi direttamente da botte. Come accostamenti tutti prodotti locali e squisiti per poter assaporare meglio il vino
vi suggerisco di fare degustazione completa di tutti i vini e di arrivare con il baule vuoto per poterlo riempire

About Winery and Wines

The Collio area is situated in the Friuli-Venezia region, at the north-east of Italy. It developed nearby the town of Gorizia. The winery resides in the San floriano del Collio, Località Valerisce, on the old wine road connecting San Floriano to Cormons. It is here that we, the Pintar family, winegrowers for 5 generations, try to incorporate in the tradional ways of wine growing the new technologies of vinification. The sun and the most peculiar soil help us produce excellent wites and a few exalted reds. At the beginning of the new millenium we started producing spumanti (sparcling wines classic method) and with the entering of Slovenia in the European Union in 2004, we added in the production line a cross-border wine using our grapes from our vineyards across the border.

Whites with attitude. The colour varies from hay yellow to hay yellow with golden reflexes. Aromatic and floral bouquet. We have autochthounus Ribolla Gialla and Friulano as well as some international as Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio, Malvasia, Sauvignon. The Collio blended wine CollioOne and cross-border wine Birsa which are slightly macerated and barrel aged.

Only a few exciting reds. Ruby red in colour with reflexes. Red fruity aroma, full-boddied and dry in taste. Merlot and Pinot Nero aged in barrique. 

Spumanti, naturally sincere bubbles. Produced with classic method and with zero dosage. Very dry. Blanc de Blancs and Rosè
