Poggio Dell'Aquila
About the Winery
Poggio dell'Aquila is a small family-run farm located on the north-western side of the Montalcino hill. The Cosimi family has been managing the estate since 1970, and since 2012, the vineyards have been cultivated entirely according to organic practices.
Our production philosophy is rooted in tradition and focused on creating wines that clearly express both the territory and the distinctive style of this exceptional wine region. Consumers can easily recognize the authentic character of Montalcino in every bottle.
Respect for nature remains at the heart of our work. We are committed to ensuring that our wines faithfully reflect the geographical identity and unique terroir of the area.
Today, Renzo and his daughter Giulia take care of the winery with the same passion once shown by their grandfathers, Roberto and Bramante, continuing a family tradition built on dedication and love for the land.
