The passion and knowledge of our hosts was infectious and the beauty of the olive groves, orchards, and of course the vineyard sections within the setting of the Algarve hills was spectacular.
Finishing off with the tastings of the high quality products from the Quinta: both the wines and the olive oils, made for a great afternoon treat that was of the top highlights of our entire trip to Portugal.
As a person rarely writes reviews, and is stingy with 5/5 scores, I can easily recommend this experience.

As a boutique, family-run estate, Quinta dos Sentidos offers guided tours and private tastings, exclusive to each party and hosted by the owners or the resident oenologist. Visitors are invited to reconnect with nature through a guided tour of the vineyards, winery, and gardens, uncovering the secrets of winemaking, as well as olive oil and verjus production. Experience the essence of Quinta dos Sentidos wines and other produce right at their place of origin.
Set on gently south- and southwest-sloping grounds, the vineyards at Quinta dos Sentidos enjoy the ideal combination of ample sunshine and a cooling oceanic breeze. These conditions are perfectly suited for the estate's grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Tinta Caiada, and Syrah for reds, and Arinto and Antão Vaz for whites. These grapes enable the production of both blended and single-variety wines. The estate’s commitment to quality is evident in the strict yield reduction, meticulous hand selection of grapes, artisanal winemaking, and aging in French and American oak barrels, resulting in exceptional red, white, rosé, and red late-harvest wines.
The estate's diverse olive varieties are used to create both single-variety and blended extra virgin olive oils. Additionally, six bee populations, thriving on the surrounding citrus groves and flowering trees and shrubs, produce pure, natural honey, further showcasing the richness and biodiversity of Quinta dos Sentidos.
