The Rossi di Medelana winery, with over 450 years of history, has been able to seize the many opportunities offered by the Castelli Romani area, while preserving the rural atmosphere and the peculiarities of this scenic region and its landscape, characterized by lovely hills covered with vineyards and old olive trees. The Rossi di Medelana was an aristocratic family from Bologna that owned property in Lazio.

The farm buildings have recently been brought back to their ancient glory with the renovation of the old farm dwelling, the event rooms, the exhibition/tasting/conference rooms, and the old caves carved out of tuff, where the wine made exclusively by the farm will age.

Each plot of the Rossi di Medelana winery is clearly identified and farmed separately, based on the individual phases of the planted cultivars, so as to produce top-quality varietal wines, such as Malvasia, Bellone, Syrah and VIGNA FERRI DOCG FRASCATI SUPERIORE, whose exclusive and certified designation of origin is a guarantee of territorial, cultural and farming identity, the main objective of the "ROSSI di MEDELANA" blend.
