About the Winery

Marini Giuseppe Agricultural Company is a family-run winery located in Pistoia, just 30 kilometers west of Florence, in a region renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage—recognized as the Italian Capital of Culture in 2017. Our deep love for the land, respect for nature, and commitment to the natural cycles of the seasons are the cornerstones of our daily work. For generations, we have passionately dedicated ourselves to producing fine wines, traditional Vin Santo, and Tuscan IGP Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Recently, we have expanded our offerings to include artisanal wine vinegar, further showcasing our dedication to quality and tradition. Visitors to our estate can immerse themselves in the authentic Tuscan experience, discovering the beauty of our land and the care we take in preserving it for future generations.

About the Wines

For two centuries, the Marini family has been crafting exceptional wines by blending time-honored expertise with modern technological innovations. Our portfolio includes Chianti DOCG, Birbante Rosso di Toscana IGT, and SaviuM Bianco di Toscana IGT. In the vineyard, we employ environmentally friendly practices, utilizing integrated pest management techniques and maintaining a natural grass cover to prevent soil erosion and preserve the integrity of the land. In the winery, we carry this philosophy forward by using natural fermentation processes, relying on the indigenous yeasts present on the grapes and in our fermentation spaces. Each bottle from our winery reflects our commitment to sustainable practices and the rich winemaking heritage of Tuscany. Whether you're enjoying our robust reds or our crisp whites, Marini wines offer a true taste of the region's traditions, crafted with care and respect for the environment.

Very interesting and pleasant
After the brief presentation of the company, we saw the processing stages for both the wine and the oil, to then finish with the tasting, first passing by the room where the grapes that will produce the vinsanto are prepared.
The explanation was interesting and clear, the products of the family-run company seemed genuine and of excellent quality. A beautiful experience, highly recommended.

Very unique
The visit was short but efficient.
They showed us the vineyards and where they then produce oil, wine and vinsanto.
Everything very productive and unique, I definitely recommend it!

Warm & Friendly Family
I scheduled a wine tour for my husband & I while in Pistoia. The scheduling was very simple. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owners of the farm ( husband & wife). They spoke very little English but they were the warmest and kindest people. A few mins. after, their adult daughter ( with her own little daughter of 3 yrs) & son joined ( just as friendly). Unfortunately, it was pouring rain and we did not get a tour of the vineyard and hich we would have loved as it is a BEAUTIFUL farm! Momma Marini knew the most english and she showed us where the wine was stored & bottled as well as the process of the olive oil making.
Shortly after, we were seated at a small table and were introduced to their white wine (light & medium fruitiness).. We also had the red reserve ( nice) along with some salumi, cheese & olives as well as their owned wine jelly ( my husband’s favorite!). We had their lemon infused olive oil( (spring in a bottle!) with bread. We finished with some vin santo and their own biscotti - delicioso!! Although there was a language barrier, we had a pleasant experience and walked away with some delicious wine, olive oil and goodies to savor.

Thanks Dawn,
for your kind review. Unfortunately the bad weather limited the visit to the company. However, we are pleased that you appreciated our products during the tasting.
We constantly strive to improve and are sorry that our English was not satisfactory. We will try to improve.
