Warm & Friendly Family

I scheduled a wine tour for my husband & I while in Pistoia. The scheduling was very simple. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owners of the farm ( husband & wife). They spoke very little English but they were the warmest and kindest people. A few mins. after, their adult daughter ( with her own little daughter of 3 yrs) & son joined ( just as friendly). Unfortunately, it was pouring rain and we did not get a tour of the vineyard and hich we would have loved as it is a BEAUTIFUL farm! Momma Marini knew the most english and she showed us where the wine was stored & bottled as well as the process of the olive oil making.
Shortly after, we were seated at a small table and were introduced to their white wine (light & medium fruitiness).. We also had the red reserve ( nice) along with some salumi, cheese & olives as well as their owned wine jelly ( my husband’s favorite!). We had their lemon infused olive oil( (spring in a bottle!) with bread. We finished with some vin santo and their own biscotti - delicioso!! Although there was a language barrier, we had a pleasant experience and walked away with some delicious wine, olive oil and goodies to savor.

for your kind review. Unfortunately the bad weather limited the visit to the company. However, we are pleased that you appreciated our products during the tasting.
We constantly strive to improve and are sorry that our English was not satisfactory. We will try to improve.

Contesto molto intimo e familiare, vinsanteria una perla, tutti i prodotti eccezionali, dal vino all olio alla gelatina di vin santo e i biscotti. La famiglia cordiale simpatica e disponibile

La Società Agricola Marini Giuseppe è un'azienda a conduzione familiare, ed è situata in Pistoia (30 km ovest da Firenze), città ricca di bellezze paesaggistiche ed un patrimonio artistico e culturale importante (Eletta Capitale della Cultura per l’anno 2017). L’amore per la terra, il rispetto per la natura, l’attenzione nei confronti dei naturali cicli stagionali sono alcuni dei valori fondamentali su cui si basa il nostro lavoro quotidiano . Ci siamo sempre dedicati con passione alla produzione di vini, Vin Santo e Olio extravergine di Oliva Toscano IGP e ultimamente abbiamo aggiunto anche l’aceto di vino.

LA FAMIGLIA MARINI PRODUCE DA DUE SECOLI, OTTIMI VINI CONIUGANDO L’ESPERIENZA ACQUISITA NEL TEMPO, ALL’INNOVAZIONE TECNOLOGICA. I nostri vini sono Chianti DOCG, Birbante Rosso di Toscana IGT e SaviuM Bianco di Toscana IGT. Lavoriamo in vigna, seguendo criteri di basso impatto ambientale, utilizzando metodi di lotta guidata per la difesa fitosanitaria delle viti e creando un tappeto erboso nei nostri vigneti, al fine di preservare il territorio dal dissesto idrogeologico. In cantina, come in vigna, manteniamo la stessa filosofia, adottando la fermentazione naturale che sfrutta i lieviti naturalmente presenti sulle uve e nei locali di fermentazione.
