About Winery and Wines

Tenuta Moriniello is a family-run business that was born from the dream of two brothers, Tania and Luigi, who inherited the dream from their father Beniamino. Beniamino's passion for wine, his love for nature, and his entrepreneurial talent turned the dream into an actual project. The love for challenges led them to acquire the property, which has now become Tenuta Moriniello, and, since every change arises from in-depth knowledge of the origins, the family has established a precious collaboration with the previous owner and with his oenologist with the aim of keeping alive the link with tradition, while looking towards the future.

The soils of Tenuta Moriniello are mainly of sedimentary origin, composed of calcareous marly clays. Prevalent types include Chianti alberese, sandstone, clay, and schists such as galestro. The composition of the soils, their variety and combination, factors such as altitude and exposure to the sun, combined with the climate of the Tuscan region give balance in alcoholic and phenolic components and longevity, intense and varied aromas and olfactory sensations, contributing greatly to the uniqueness of Tenuta Moriniello's wines.
