Tenute Lattias is a young italian winery founded in 2017 by Giovanni Latti, a young winemaker with a passion for wine and love for the land. The winery Tenute Lattias is located in Nurri a little town in the center of Sardinia (island in the middle Mediterranean Sea).

Currently produces three wines called Argia, Dinneriu and Scabbidau. The territory of Nurri (SU) is in the central southern Sardinia, in the hilly territories at approximately 700 m. of altitude is born. Tenute Lattias are the encounter between past and present (in fact the grapes are processed following the traditional working methods). Our is a small winery with an annual production of about four thousand bottles. Ours is a small production by choice, in fact in this way we are able to keep the quality level high . Our vineyards (about 3 hectares can be visited in  any time of the year) are located on limestone, marl, schist and clay soils, which give compact and deep colors, intense and varied aromas, good structure, richness in alcohol and low acidity, fine quality and longevity.

Argia, a blend of typical local grapes (grenache, monica, bovale and a small part of girò plus others native grapes) which give our red Igt an unmistakable character.

The name of our wine Argia :

Argia which means colorful is a spider better known as the "Mediterranean black widow". The arachnid belongs to the Theridiidae family. In Italy, together with Loxosceles rufescens, it is one of the few species whose bite can create a serious danger for humans. The bite of the female does not cause instant pain but its effects can already manifest themselves in the first 15 minutes with sweating.

Dinneriu is the second wine of our family. It is a Sardinian Bovale. The grapes come from a vineyard of about 1 hectare in the Lattias area, grown on a slope facing south-west. Dinneriu means Devil in Sardinian. In Sardinia there are different names  to call the Devil, the most common are Diàulu, Demoniu and Aremigu but Dinneriu is the most archaic term.

While the latest addition to Tenute Lattias is Scabbidau, an rosé wine. His color is a bright pink with a purple hue and at the palate is marked by a refreshing character and surprising minerality that lead to a tantalizing finish.
