About Winery and Wines

The Terre di San Rocco winery is surrounded by changing colors vineyards, colors that seduce gently reminding the changing season. The views that you can enjoy strolling through the rows enhance the nuances that seems stolen from the brush of a skillful painter. Made with recovery stones with natural colors and wood, the cellar is harmoniously integrated into the landscape.

Our vineyards are located in three plots all adjacent to the winery. Here are bred black grapes such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and white grapes like Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc. The rows are placed considering the terroir and the best exposure conditions, because our wines are born in the vineyard with a care that starts right from the field, respecting the land and the plant. We do not fertilize and irrigate our vines, because we believe it is important to respect the rhythms of nature and collect just the benefits that it offers us. For this reason, we carry out every transaction by hand: from the pruning, continuing with the thinning and then harvesting, steps when we select the best fruits to be processed into wines of excellence. During the harvest, the selected grapes are lied in the appropriate boxes that, without waiting, are brought to the winery in order not to make the grapes suffer. Here the boxes are classified according to the vineyard of origin and we proceed to a final selection. In doing so, we are able to follow the path of the harvest of each vineyard in all the individual phases until bottling. We are proud to be able to personally follow all the steps that take place in our cellar until the bottling, labeling and packaging of our wines.
