5 Perfect noon stop between Verona and Cortina for first prosecco experience (Robert)Spend a delightful ninety minutes discovering prosecco at Colline Guizette tasting room siting above the vineyard with Emanuele, who manages the wine experience and other parts of the business. Was delighted to learn the different history and nuances of the prosecco family and enjoyed a generous tasting of 5 of their wines, including my favorite - the extra Brut. Accompanying each course was a delicious chicchetti - including salami, smoked salmon, and a delicious prosciutto with Gorgonzola cheese. Experience compares well the best tastings I have had in Napa, Bordeaux, Tuscany, and Spain.

5 Bring Prosecco to our hearts (Ka Chun)I can't think of any other words except "Wonderful". We were met by a fantastic guide, whom was very informative and pleasant. Every step in producing Prosecco was clearly explained -- Ruggeri is a star in the region. Tasting session was also amazing, 3 different labels of tasty Prosecco, each projecting its own character, accompanied by delightful cheese and cold cut. A complete journey into Prosecco.

The tasting room at PDC Cartizze is well organized, modern and comfortably high tech. We enjoyed a truly deep dive into the terroir and the company's own unique approach to the two-step fermentation process. We walked away with several bottles. We had a spectacular view of Valdobbiadene and she taught us all about the region, their wine, and the process it undergoes. The quality was superb and we even got to pair the prosecco with some local produce - the honey was from the bees in the vineyards!

5 Would Definitely Recommend!! (Hannah)Amazing experience, our guide was so knowledgeable, and had really good English. The drive through Prosecco road was stunning with the views and then you walk to the vines where we sampled the Prosecco and had a plate of cheese and salami to help ourselves too. The walk to the vines is all uphill and steep, so would not suit some people. Then back to the winery shop for more tasting, this was more of a little description about the Prosecco and then you were left to drink it in peace, so not too formal. Overall I would recommend and everyone at Gemin Spumanti was excellent.

5 A must-do, even if it's out of your way! (Al)The Guia winery is located in an absolutely quintessential Italian mountainside vineyard setting. The hostess is a 3rd generation owner/winemaker who regaled us with familial tales of harvests and feasts. We capped the tour with a fantastic array of prosecco - my fave the Extra Brut. Put Guia on your bucket list.

5 Art and prosecco (Asta)Art and prosecco, what could be better. Deep traditions and modernity. A wonderful place between vineyards and an art-filled environment, enchanting stories and an impressive tasting. I really liked that there are many different spaces, the guests are divided for the tasting and you feel very cozy and private. Their prosecco is amazing, we left with full bags, we also bought their glasses with the chameleon sign. We immediately started looking for prosecco produced by Fasol Menin in our country and we were very happy that it is available. Great experience and fun time.

5 Amazing Prosecco Experience! (Dagny)This tour is a must-do experience when in the Prosecco Hills! The winery is in a beautiful location with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The tour started with a short walk through the vines, where we saw the differences in the red grapes used for their Prosecco Rosés and the white, Glera grapes, used in classic Proseccos. The walk led to their facilities to see where the 1st and 2nd fermentation occurs, along with their bottling and labeling machines. Afterwards, we started the tasting. The table was outside and covered, so we could enjoy the spectacular view. We tried three of their Proseccos, and we were given delicious snacks, slices of pork on bread, homemade focaccia, slices of quiche, garlic pesto on bread, and cheese on bread. Everything tasted spectacular! We were super impressed by the portions of the food and the tastings. We loved it so much that we decided to stay for dinner. We had amazing homemade pasta and gnocchi, followed by the best tiramisu that I have ever had. We toured 6 different wineries while in the area, and this was our favorite experience, If you are thinking about where to go, then definitely come here. You will not be disappointed!

5 Amazing experience (Barbara)It was my first time learning how prosecco was made. I was very surprised on the different methods and flavour profiles. Really enjoyed the wine served on the tasting and appreciated the cheese and snacks provided as well. The explanation and the hospitality was also top! It was a shame that I did not have the luggage to take some bottles with me.

5 A pleasant visit in the Prosecco hills (Barbara)We had a very good experience with Edoardo who showed us, the vineyard, the cantina while explaining the history of the family owned business and of the Prosecco, the different types, the method of fermentation and the process from picking up the grapes to the final product in bottles. The wine tasting was also very good. We tried 6 different kinds of Prosecco accompanied with delicious cheese and cold meet from the region. Altogether a lovely experience.

5 Great experience! (Vicki)My friend and I went for a Prosecco tasting at Ville D’Arfanta and it was a lovely experience. We started off with a quick tour of the vineyards and then went inside a cosy house for the tasting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and hospitable. I learned lots and tasted some delicious Prosecco and the cheese and meats were very tasty too! I would definitely recommend. It was well worth it!

5 Voldobbiadene DOCG (Tahima)Prosecco?...... No un Voldobbiadene DOCG by Gemin grazie! While on holiday at the Dolomites we decided to go for wine tasting in Valdobbiadene region. When we arrived at the winery we were immediately greeted at the door by a lovely smile of Elizabetta one of the family members running this family run winery. On her first introduction she explained the difference between the prosecco and the Valdobbiadene DOCG. Infact to make distinction prosecco was completely removed from Valdobbiadene wine's name. In the region of Valdobbiadene and that of Conegliano the harvest is all hand picked with no machinery involved. After a brief tour at the winery and botteling area we continued our tour with tasting of 3 different wines accompined with a mouth watering tagliere. Elizabetta explained all the diiference with the three wines ranging from the extra brut to the dry. Complimenti a tour worth visting and highly recommended. Grazie Elizabetta.

5 Informative tour and wonderful wines (Carrina)Edoardo was an excellent host who really helped us to understand the history and evolution of Prosecco production in Italy. We toured one of the vineyards while learning more about the region and the DOC and DOCG designations. We then learned about the production process and the care with which they blend their wines. Finally, we sat down to taste some of the wines which were accompanied by some local meats and cheeses. The entire experience was very enjoyable and we were especially excited to learn that they are able to ship wine to us in the US.
