About Winery and Wines
TerreGàrcia is a family-managed winery nestled in the rolling hills of western Sicily, where our vineyards flourish on calcareous-clay soils rich in skeleton. Dedicated to organic farming and a hands-on, artisanal approach, we carefully oversee every stage of the winemaking process—from tending the vineyards to bottling our wines. Led by Giuseppe Aloisio and his sons Calogero and Gaetano, our mission is simple: to produce wines that reflect the natural beauty of our land and our unwavering commitment to quality.
Our philosophy revolves around crafting wines with natural acidity and freshness, staying true to the authenticity of our terroir. We embrace both tradition and innovation to create expressive wines that honor the rich agricultural heritage of Sicily while respecting the environment.
At TerreGàrcia, we specialize in producing two distinctive wines, each made in small tanks to ensure the highest level of attention and care.
Contravento: A fresh and vibrant 100% Grillo, this white wine captures the spirit of the Sicilian coastline. Its natural acidity and crispness make it an excellent choice for those seeking a refreshing, lively wine.
Kalatalì: A soft and easy-to-drink blend of Nero d'Avola and Syrah, this red wine offers a harmonious balance of fruitiness and smoothness. Perfect for casual sipping, Kalatalì is approachable yet full of character.
Both wines embody our dedication to quality and our respect for the land, offering an authentic taste of Sicily in every bottle.
