Villa Bucher is an artisanal winery nestled in the heart of Umbria, where 7 hectares of vineyards grow on volcanic soils, producing wines of intense character and dramatic expression. The estate is the vision of Oliver Bucher, a renowned Swiss entrepreneur whose family fell in love with Umbria’s breathtaking landscapes and timeless charm.

Perched on a hilltop, the estate features a stunning 360° panoramic view, with tastings hosted in the estate’s iconic Orangerie—a one-of-a-kind setting that reflects the elegance and uniqueness of Villa Bucher wines. Visits and tastings are available by appointment only, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience.

With a focus on quality and minimal intervention, Villa Bucher combines the power of terroir with a refined, international sensibility, crafting wines that are bold, expressive, and unmistakably Umbrian.

Producing around 65,000 bottles annually, Villa Bucher focuses on single-varietal wines and elegant blends, each shaped by the volcanic soils and the estate's distinct microclimate. The current collection includes six carefully crafted labels:

Auro Bianco – A fresh and vibrant white blend of 80% Grechetto and 20% Sauvignon, combining local tradition with international flair.

Terre dei Castelli Bianco – A 100% Chardonnay, rich and refined, offering structure and elegance.

Rosado – A delicate rosé made from 100% Cabernet Franc, crisp, aromatic, and perfect for warm days.

Auro Rosso – A bold expression of Cabernet Franc, showcasing depth, spice, and personality.

Terre dei Castelli Rosso – Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, structured and intense, ideal for aging and pairing with rich dishes.

Rosso Vulcano – A 100% Merlot shaped by volcanic soil, delivering smooth tannins, ripe fruit, and striking minerality.
