Villadoria
About the Winery
Tenuta Cappallotto, encompassing approximately 20 hectares of vineyards in Serralunga d’Alba, is home to the Villadoria winemaking and aging cellar, as well as the historic farmhouse that now hosts Agriturismo Il Cappallotto.
The Villadoria wine estate is rejuvenated each year through the tradition of the grape harvest. The continuous cycle of the seasons and the dedicated work of the Lanzavecchia family ensure that the winemaking journey is always evolving and renewing, carrying forward a legacy of excellence in every bottle.
About the Wines
The vineyards at Villadoria represent the most valuable heritage, primarily planted with Nebbiolo for Barolo. These vineyards extend along the western slopes of the Serralunga d’Alba hills, an area renowned for producing quality wines. In addition to Nebbiolo for Barolo, Villadoria produces all the typical wines of southern Piedmont. The commitment to environmental stewardship is deeply rooted in respect for nature’s ancient rhythms, ensuring the preservation of the lands that have nurtured generations. Sustainability in the vineyards is the foremost priority, reflecting a dedication to safeguarding this precious environment.
Villadoria’s wines are a proud reflection of the region's rich history and noble traditions, where quality is paramount. From the careful selection of the harvest time to meticulous work in the cellar, aging, and bottling, every step is handled with the utmost care. Wine is regarded as a living, demanding product that requires constant attention and respect throughout its journey from vine to bottle.
Over the years, Villadoria wines have evolved, embodying not only a deep wine-growing legacy but also a cultural and philosophical heritage. Each bottle encapsulates the history and complexity of the terroir, offering a natural expression of a region that thrives on its connection to wine. Ultimately, these wines are the result of the harmonious interplay between human craftsmanship and the wonders of nature.

Top experience
A truly splendid welcome!
Highly recommended!
Magnificent experience
The tasting was a real pleasure and the platter with local products was also exquisite and perfect to accompany everything.
A wonderful experience!!!
I should mention that, well in advance, we received an informational message from the Winery on the phone number left for the booking, containing a reminder for the visit, its location to reach the place, and other useful info; and this already gives a pleasant impression of courtesy and professionalism.
Feelings that were then amply confirmed during the visit when, led by Domenico, we let ourselves be guided in discovering the history of the Company and its wines, all illustrated with great experience and passion by an impeccable ‘guide’.
To conclude, the tasting part was based on 4 of their wines generously accompanied by local products with which we ended up having a pleasant little lunch. Another note of merit for the “flexible” management of the tasting, which perfectly took into account the tastes and preferences of the guest who was with me.
I'd say everything was very good and congratulations indeed!
I would recommend a visit to Villadoria without reservation

Excellent Experience
The winery tour was very thorough, the description of its history is very interesting, followed by a tasting of 4 wines they produce with samples of local cured meats and cheeses.
Truly recommended, an excellent experience.
Wonderful experience, I recommend it
We chose the three-wine tasting, while others chose the tasting of the House's Barolos. Everyone was satisfied at the end, the production is absolutely excellent, the tasting was well-thought-out and delicious, the charcuterie board more than satisfactory. Domenico is an expert and passionate guide, trust him without any worries.
When we can, we will return!
