Our family has been dedicated to winemaking in Mikulov for generations. Before 1989, wine was produced only in small quantities in glass demijohns, later on a larger scale in tanks and big barrels, and eventually again in smaller volumes when the previous generation slowly retired from winemaking.

Driven by a deep passion for vineyards, wine, and the traditions connected to them, we decided to continue the family story and return to Mikulov. In 2014, we purchased part of an old farmstead and began building a modern winery that combines respect for tradition with contemporary winemaking techniques.

In 2016, we also started the reconstruction of a former granary and dairy building into what is now Hotel Ryzlink, located beneath the beautiful Holy Hill of Mikulov.

Our philosophy is focused on creating authentic varietal wines that reflect the unique terroir of Mikulov. We follow natural winemaking methods passed down through generations and avoid artificial additives or unnecessary interventions during production.

The foundation of our wines is healthy, perfectly ripe grapes harvested exclusively by hand. Our vineyards are located directly in Mikulov, only a few hundred meters from the winery, allowing us to process the grapes quickly and gently.

After careful maceration and fermentation, the wines mature on fine lees using traditional batonnage and sur-lie methods. Once bottled, the wines rest for several more months before reaching our guests, ensuring elegance, depth, and excellent aging potential.

Visitors can enjoy guided tastings, discover the story of our winery, and experience the authentic atmosphere of South Moravia in a modern yet welcoming setting.

We follow traditional winemaking practices that have been developed and refined over generations, with one essential principle: to preserve in the wine everything the grapes naturally gained in the vineyard. For this reason, we avoid the use of artificial or unnatural additives during the winemaking process.

The foundation of every great wine is healthy and perfectly ripe grapes. At our winery, the grapes are treated with the utmost care. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, which is gentler on the fruit and allows us to carefully select only the best grapes directly in the vineyard.

Our vineyards are located directly in Mikulov, only a few hundred meters from the winery, enabling quick and gentle grape processing immediately after harvest.

After careful destemming and crushing, the grapes undergo maceration in specialized tanks before pressing. Alcoholic fermentation is then carefully supervised in order to preserve the natural aromas and authentic character of the wine.

Following the first racking, we interfere with the wine as little as possible and allow it to develop naturally. The wines mature on fine lees using traditional batonnage and sur-lie methods, giving them complexity, texture, and depth.

After bottling, the wines continue to rest for an additional 3 to 12 months before reaching our guests and customers. This patience allows the wines to harmonize beautifully and develop excellent aging potential for many years in the bottle.

We specialize primarily in white wines typical for the Mikulov wine region, including Riesling, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pálava, and Grüner Sylvaner. We also produce elegant rosé and selected red wines in smaller quantities.

Guests visiting our winery can taste the wines directly where they are created and experience the authentic atmosphere of South Moravia and the unique limestone terroir of Mikulov.
