Vinea Ventis

Winery in Franciacorta, Iseo Lake

About the Winery

Vinea Ventis is a dream brought to life among rolling hills, where the whisper of the wind carries stories of land, grapes, and passion. A tribute to beauty, where nature, the ultimate artist, paints a masterpiece each day.

Nestled in the heart of Franciacorta, Tenuta Vinea Ventis is located in Paratico, a captivating corner where the land’s magic nurtures the vines. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Bianco thrive in this extraordinary soil, flourishing under the protection of the Oglio Nord Park, where wildlife weaves through the vineyard rows.

Cultivated in espalier formations, the vines are carefully guided by skilled hands, maintaining a delicate balance between leaf and fruit. This harmony, together with the rarity of the soil, allows Vinea Ventis to produce 20,000 bottles annually of exquisite Franciacorta wines: Brut, Rosé, Satèn, and, in the most exceptional vintages, the Nature Millesimato Pas Dosé. Each bottle is a masterpiece shaped by time, embodying a one-of-a-kind essence. This uniqueness emerges from the interplay of climate, terroir, grape variety, and winemaking expertise, crafting a wine that tells the story of its land and tradition. With every passing day, it evolves, becoming a living expression of nature and the artistry of winemaking.

About the Wines

The Vinea Ventis Franciacorta is a true expression of its terroir, crafted from a meticulous selection of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir grapes sourced from three vineyards within the most prestigious areas of Franciacorta.

The vines, averaging 20 years of age, are cultivated using Guyot and Sylvoz training systems, ensuring a density of 5,000 plants per hectare and a yield of 65 hl/ha. The harvest is conducted by hand, with careful grape selection and transport in small crates, beginning in the second week of August to preserve optimal ripeness.

After harvesting, the grapes undergo gentle pressing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C. Each base wine is vinified separately, respecting the characteristics of its vineyard of origin, before being expertly blended to create a harmonious and balanced cuvée.

The wine then matures on the lees in the bottle for a minimum of 21 months, in cellars maintained at a constant temperature of 12-15°C. This extended aging process enhances elegance, complexity, and structure, shaping a refined and expressive Franciacorta.

Everything was delicious
We recently visited this winery in Franciacorta and we really enjoyed ourselves!

We were an international group composed of myself, a friend, and two friends from France and England, respectively.
The tour and the explanation were in Italian, and we managed the translation ourselves for our foreign friends, who in any case understand a little Italian and enjoy trying to learn on their own.
We had requested a vegan dish through the booking platform, which unfortunately, however, did not correctly transmit the information. Despite this, the winery staff proved to be extremely helpful and kind, adapting the menu with professionalism and great courtesy! Thanks again.
We therefore highly recommend calling the winery directly to confirm any dietary requirements or schedule changes. Direct communication is always more reliable and the winery managers were truly fantastic. Thanks!

We had a great time!
We had a lovely Tour and Wine Tasting at the Winery. It is a small family owned business and it was very interesting to hear about their producing processs and we really enjoyed the wine (so much that we even bought two bottles). The food was also great. I can recommend this tasting.

A must-do experience
Francesco and his wife welcomed us, showing us around the cellar and explaining all the procedures for the grape harvest and wine production. We were very happy, they are two very sweet people and we spent a lot of time chatting during the tasting. They offered us 3 types of Franciacorta, explaining the differences, and they were very good. To accompany the glasses of wine, a substantial aperitivo with cured meats and cheeses. The estate is a small, family-run business, precisely to maintain high quality and attention to detail. Compared to the city, you breathe better air and the view offered by the vineyard is very beautiful and characteristic. In the end we decided to get some bottles of Franciacorta Nature, one of the best from the cellar, and the owners gave us some gadgets and also some advice on what to do in the area. It was a beautiful experience and we will definitely recommend visiting them (or we will come back with other people). Thank you so much Vinea Ventis!
