Weingut Gunter Stübinger

Weingut Gunter Stübinger is a traditional family-run winery located in Leinsweiler, a picturesque village along Germany's renowned Deutsche Weinstraße (German Wine Route) in the Palatinate region. The estate has evolved over the generations, focusing exclusively on viticulture since 1969. Today, it is managed by Gunter and his son Fabian Stübinger, who has been recognized among the top 20 young winemakers in the Palatinate region.

Spanning approximately 16 hectares, the vineyards benefit from diverse soils and microclimates, producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The estate emphasizes sustainable practices, avoiding herbicides and insecticides, and utilizing biodiverse cover crops to maintain soil vitality and exclude the need for external fertilizers.

Visitors can enjoy wine tastings at the winery's charming vaulted cellar, dine at the "Zum Kirchhölzel" wine tavern, or stay in the estate's comfortable holiday apartments. The winery's portfolio includes classic Palatinate varieties such as Riesling and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), complemented by other white wines like Gewürztraminer, Muskateller, and Sauvignon Blanc. Additionally, the estate produces sparkling wines through traditional bottle fermentation and a selection of fruit brandies and liqueurs from their own orchards.
