3 Countries, 3 Wineries – Private Multi-Country Wine Tour from Dubrovnik

Your experience begins with pickup from your hotel or apartment in Dubrovnik, followed by a short drive (approx. 15 minutes) to the Bosnian border (please allow 5–20 minutes for crossing). As you travel through the rugged landscapes of Bosnia, your guide will introduce you to the region’s history, culture, and gastronomy.

After approximately 45 minutes, you’ll arrive in Trebinje, where you will enjoy a short visit to the local farmers’ market and the charming Old Town. From there, continue to the 15th-century Orthodox Monastery of Tvrdoš, a historic site where monks have been producing wine for centuries. Despite interruptions during the Ottoman period, winemaking resumed in the 1990s in the original stone cellars. You will explore the monastery and enjoy a tasting of four wines and brandies, including indigenous varieties such as Vranac and Žilavka.

The journey then continues toward Montenegro (border crossing approx. 5–40 minutes), with a scenic descent offering panoramic views over the Bay of Kotor. Upon reaching the coast, you will visit Savina Estate, where vineyards have been cultivated since Venetian times. During a walk through the vineyards and cellars, you will learn about the estate and the Obradović family, followed by a tasting of premium wines on a terrace overlooking the bay, accompanied by homemade cornbread, olives, and prosciutto.

Next, travel along the Montenegrin coast back toward Croatia (border crossing approx. 5–45 minutes) and into the Konavle Valley. Here, you will visit a family-run winery with generations of winemaking tradition. Meet the owner, hear their story, and enjoy a tasting of local wines, including the renowned Dubrovnik Malvasija.

Return to Dubrovnik with a relaxing 30-minute drive and be dropped off at your accommodation.
