Here is what's in store for you
Get ready to spend a day discovering the Douro Valley wine region with Andreia, your personal local guide for the day. She will take you to the best family Wineries (Quintas), places with a long history in wine and olive oil production.
Depart from your accommodation around 9:00 am. Your first stop will be São Leonardo, an amazing viewpoint with an indescribable view over the Douro Valley. Next, visit a family winery, where you will taste premium Port wine, table wines, and olive oil.
For lunch, you will stop at a restaurant where you'll enjoy a tasty lunch with Portuguese traditional food.
After lunch, you will head towards Sabrosa, and we will stop at a beautiful viewpoint in São Cristovão do Douro. Then, direction Pinhão, where you will make a 1-hour Rabelo boat Cruise on the Douro River and visit the iconic train station with hand-painted tiles.
Later, we will cross the most beautiful panoramic area from the road EN222, which in 2015 was awarded as the most beautiful road in the world.
At last, before returning to your hotel, we will visit a historical Douro winery (Quinta) and taste premium Port and DOC still wines, as well as olive oil.
