Barolo Cru Wine Tasting and Tour at Brandini Winery in La Morra
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience at Brandini Winery, led by the hospitality manager, begins directly in the estate's vineyards. You will be introduced to their approach to organic farming and sustainable viticulture, understanding the role of soil and subsoil in shaping the identity of their wines.
The visit continues inside the winery, with a focus on the fermentation and winemaking processes, before moving to the aging cellar where the wines rest and mature. The tour concludes with an in-depth exploration of Barolo through a guided tasting.
You will taste 5 Barolo DOCG wines, selected to highlight the differences between vintages, crus, and terroir. The tasting may include labels from renowned crus such as Meriame, Cerretta, or the estate's Barolo del Comune di La Morra, offering insight into the diverse expressions of this wine.
Depending on the season, the tasting takes place in one of two distinct settings. In cooler months or poor weather, you'll be in the dedicated tasting room among the barrels, with vinyl music creating a warm atmosphere. In summer, the tasting moves outdoors to the panoramic terrace or under the fig trees, with views of Monviso.
