Wine tasting experience at Solimago, a certified organic winery in an ancient village that is located in a historically significant landscape on the southern shore of Lake Garda.
Solimago is an organic farm, an oasis of peace and well-being that proposes a veg lifestyle. By choice, the wines it produces represent to the fullest this intense and harmonious relationship with Nature and avoid the use of unnecessary pesticides.
Near the southern shores of Lake Garda, the winery cultivates grassy vines on those very hills that were scenary of the Battle of Solferino in 1859, the decisive act to achieve Independence and the Unification of Italy.
We propose a visit to the Winery, where all the townspeople took refuge during a famous battle, and the House Museum, which houses many relics of the Italian Risorgimento.
This is followed by a visit to the vineyards lying on the cypress hill below the Rocca di Solferino fortress.
To conclude, you’ll enjoy a tasting of the four wines of Solimago accompanied by local products like baked goods and vegetarian and/or vegan cheeses.
