Brunello di Montalcino Small Group Wine Tour from Florence with Lunch & Tastings

Your full-day tour begins in Florence, traveling south through the Chianti region to the Val d’Orcia, one of Tuscany's most celebrated landscapes. The first destination is the hilltop town of Montalcino, where you will have about an hour of free time to explore its medieval streets and panoramic viewpoints.

The day continues with visits to two carefully selected boutique wineries, hosted by the local producers themselves. At each stop, you will learn about the characteristics and production process of Brunello di Montalcino, with a walk through the vineyards and a tour of the historic cellars.

At one of the family-run wineries, you will have a traditional multi-course Tuscan lunch. The meal starts with a platter of local appetizers like crostini, cold cuts, and cheeses, followed by a main course such as paccheri with meat ragù, and concludes with a homemade dessert. The lunch is paired with a guided tasting of four estate wines.

Across the two wineries, you will taste a total of eight wines, including Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, and both red and rosé Tuscan IGT wines.
