A famous architect, Luigi Vietti, expanded and renovated this structure, which faithfully reflects the genius loci of the area. La Meirana is located in the heart of the prestigious Gavi territory and represents the oldest name linked to it. In fact, as shown by a document preserved in the State Archives of Genoa, the name Meirana is mentioned in a rental contract dated 3 June 972 AD. Therefore, the estate was born at the beginning of the history of Gavi.
