One of the best ways to embrace the Italian culture is by taking a Tuscan cooking class immersed in the countryside surrounding Panzano. And an authentic culinary experience in Italy cannot be complete without diving into its wines as well!
On this private day tour from Florence, you will visit a family-run boutique winery situated on the slopes of Panzano, which represents the heart of Chianti, one of the largest wine-producing regions of the world.
You will tour the estate, visit the vineyards and the historical wine cellars, cook the Italian way, and drink a fine selection of Chianti wines.
Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and learn how to cook the way Tuscan grandmas and moms do every day in their kitchens for their families! The cooking class will take place in a true Italian kitchen, overlooking the vineyards and the enchanting hills of Tuscany. Accompanied by an expert local chef, you will prepare appetizers (antipasti), first and second courses, and a dessert, using only fresh ingredients and 0 km products. The recipes are chosen by the chef according to the seasonality of the fresh products. You will learn how to cut, braise, boil, cook and roast a complete Tuscan meal. In no time, you will be able to easily recreate Italian traditional dishes at home and brag about your newfound skills.
After this hands-on cooking lesson, you will sit down for lunch and enjoy the fruits of your labor, paired with a remarkable selection of Tuscan wines. This tour is not solely a culinary experience, but it is centered around wine as well.
The cooking class will be complemented by a wine tasting of the estate’s signature wines and extra virgin olive oil.
