Here is what's in store for you
Upon your arrival at Ciavolich Winery, you will be welcomed by a member of the hospitality team.
Then, you will immediately dive into the world of winemaking. While walking along Ciavolich's vineyards, you will discover why Loreto Aprutino is considered a terroir of excellence across the globe, what characterizes it and how you can distinguish it. You will also learn the difference between the winery’s two systems of vineyard cultivation: Pergola Abruzzese and Guyot.
The tour will continue in the three different cellars of the winery: steel, wood and concrete, and terracotta. Learning about the different cellars and techniques will allow you to better understand the different wines produced by the winery and their production philosophy. During your visit, you will also be told the story of the Ciavolich family, originally from Bulgaria, which migrated to Abruzzo around 1500 and started producing wine in Miglianico in 1853.
Finally, you will move on to Ciavolich’s tasting room, where it will be possible to taste 4 selected labels matched to Niko Romito's bread made of Solina and Saragolla flours and samples of the excellent dairy products of Abruzzo made by Daniela Del Proposto from Loreto Aprutino, Gregorio Rotolo from Scanno and Azienda Martinelli from Farindola. These excellent products will also be accompanied by a tasting of the estate's own extra virgin olive oil and homemade Montepulciano jam. Please inform the winery in advance should you have any food allergies and/or intolerances.

Reviews of this Winery
Interesting

Complimenti e grazie ancora. A presto
Eleonora
