Friuli Wine & Food Tour with a Professional Sommelier and Local Food Expert

Explore one of Italy’s best-kept wine secrets on a private day tour through Friuli. Your guides are Emanuele Muzzo, a professional sommelier with over 20 years of experience, and Franco Trigatti, a local food expert. They will design an itinerary based on your interests, taking you to small, family-run wineries they know personally.

The day includes visits to two different producers. At each stop, you will meet the winemakers, walk through their vineyards, and see the cellars before a guided tasting. You will sample four wines at each winery, covering the region’s distinctive styles, from elegant whites like Friulano and Ribolla Gialla to native reds such as Schioppettino. Depending on the route, you might explore the hills of Collio, the limestone plateau of Carso, or even cross the border into Slovenia’s Brda wine region.

Lunch is a key part of the day, featuring traditional Friulian specialties like frico, Prosciutto di San Daniele, and cotechino. A dedicated children’s menu is also available.
