Natural Wine Tasting with Local Products at Happy Wine in Pistoia
Here is what's in store for you
In a private tasting room just outside Pistoia's historic center, a professional sommelier will introduce you to the world of artisanal Italian wine. This is a guided tasting focused on natural wines from small, independent Tuscan producers. You will explore four different interpretations of grape and terroir, learning about the philosophies behind low-intervention winemaking in an accessible and interactive way.
The tasting includes four wines: a fresh white, a versatile rosé, a complex orange wine, and a structured red. The labels may vary depending on availability, but the selection can include VEA IGT Toscana Bianco from Beconcini Wines, a skin-contact Trebbiano; Matilde IGT Toscana Rosato from Terrante; and Galognano Rosso Toscana IGT, made entirely from Sangiovese.
To complement the wines, you'll be served a platter of local products for two, including Pecorino cheese, Tuscan prosciutto, and olives. Throughout the tasting, your sommelier will share the stories behind each bottle, its producer, and its region. The experience takes place in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, designed for both enthusiasts and those new to natural wines.
