Traditional Douro Lunch & Wine Tasting at Quinta da Marcela

At Quinta da Marcela, in a cozy and romantic setting overlooking the breathtaking Vale Mendiz, enjoy the authentic flavors of the Douro Valley paired with Duas Árvores wines. This light lunch experience offers the opportunity to taste wines from Quinta da Marcela while learning more about them through commentary from the winemaker of Duas Árvores wines, Diogo Frey Ramos.

The experience begins with a selection of appetizers served in a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Douro Valley. Afterwards, guests can choose one of the following traditional Portuguese dishes for the main course:

- Roast leg of pork with port wine
- Codfish with maize bread and Duas Arvores olive oil
- Duck rice with sausages and pork in the oven
- “Cozido à Portuguesa” is a traditional Portuguese stew. It is a delicacy made up of a myriad of vegetables, meats, and cooked sausages
- “Feijoada à Transmontana” - It is prepared with red or white beans, smoked pork ear, snout, other different meats, and various types of sausage.
