Day 1: Arrival in Athens & Wine Tasting
Arrive at Athens Airport and transfer to your centrally located hotel. In the evening, enjoy a 1.5-hour guided wine tasting with a certified expert, sampling Greece’s finest wines paired with traditional cheeses.

Day 2: Attica Wine Region & Cape Sounio
Visit two historic wineries in Mesogaia, home of the Savatiano grape. Learn about Greece’s 4,000-year wine history. End the day at the Temple of Poseidon to watch a stunning sunset over the Aegean.

Day 3: Nemea & Nafplio
Drive past the Corinth Canal to Nemea, Greece’s “Bordeaux,” for tastings of Agiorgitiko at two iconic wineries. Continue to Nafplio, exploring Palamidi Fortress, Bourtzi, and Syntagma Square. Enjoy dinner along the waterfront.

Day 4: Delphi & Central Greece Wines
Travel to Delphi on Mount Parnassus. Explore the Temple of Apollo, Ancient Theater, Castalian Spring, and Delphi Archaeological Museum. Conclude with wine tasting at a traditional family winery featuring Xinomavro, Assyrtiko, and Savatiano.

Day 5: Meteora & Metsovo
Witness Meteora’s UNESCO-listed monasteries atop towering cliffs. Discover frescoes and spiritual retreats. Continue to Metsovo, an alpine town, for a winery visit and tasting of exceptional local wines.

Day 6: Metsovo & Ioannina
Explore Ioannina Castle and Ottoman-era landmarks. Visit Zitsa, a high-altitude wine region known for Debina, and tour a local winery. An optional visit to Perama Cave before returning to Metsovo.

Day 7: Vergina, Naoussa & Thessaloniki
Visit Vergina, home to Philip II’s tomb, and explore the royal artifacts. Continue to Naoussa to taste world-class Xinomavro at a renowned winery. End in Thessaloniki, exploring the White Tower, Rotunda, and lively waterfront.

Day 8: Drama, Kavala & Philippi
Visit a top winery in Drama for Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, and international varietals. Explore Philippi’s archaeological site and Saint Lydia’s baptismal location. Conclude with a stroll through Kavala’s old town and harbor.
Overnight in Thessaloniki.
Day 9: Thessaloniki – Athens
Panoramic tour of Thessaloniki: White Tower, Aristotelous Square, Roman Agora, Arch of Galerius, and Rotunda. Drive back to Athens via Mount Olympus, stopping at Thermopylae and Kamena Vourla for lunch.

Day 10: Departure from Athens
Private transfer to Athens Airport according to your flight details. Safe travels home!
