Your experience at Antico Gelso begins with a personal welcome from the winemaker. You'll start with a tour of the winery, where they will share the story of the estate and the philosophy behind their artisanal winemaking.
The focus of the visit is Merlot, a grape that defines their production. You'll learn about the unique character of the Colline Moreniche terroir, the work in the vineyard, and the specific choices that shape the final wines.
After the tour, you'll take a seat in the tasting room for a guided tasting of two of their red wines: Vasca 6 and Noce, both Merlot-based. The winemaker will guide you through each glass, sharing stories and details about their characteristics.
The tasting is paired with a selection of local products chosen to complement the wines: Salame De.C.O. di Pozzolengo, 24-month aged Grana cheese, local bread with Garda extra virgin olive oil, and a touch of dark chocolate.
This is an opportunity to spend time directly with the producer, understanding their Merlot from the vineyard to the glass, through the traditions and flavors of the territory.
