Sobre la bodega y los vinos
The Baglio Ingardia farm is located at the foot of Mount Erice, in the fertile countryside of the province of Trapani. The origins of the Baglio date back to the 18th century, when it was built by Baron Todaro della Galia, who planted a lush olive grove of about 10 hectares on the farm. It became part of the property of the Ingardia family, and in the last century it has been renovated to welcome the many Oil, Beer, and Wine lovers. The company has been expanded mainly thanks to the hard work done over the years that has further consolidated the beauty of Baglio and the quality of its products.
Ingardia family strongly believes in the value of eco-sustainability. Equipped with a modern irrigation system, Baglio boasts a reservoir with a capacity of about 45,000 m3: this guarantees the necessary water resources during hot and dry periods, and helps to keep the quality of the fruits harvested from the plants always high. All the lands are cultivated using only organic fertilizers, applying the practice of green manure of legumes produced exclusively in the company, fundamental for the improvement, fertilization and protection of the soil.
