Bodega Vulcano de Lanzarote

Bodega Vulcano de Lanzarote, was born as a family business, due to the tenacity and dedication of vine cultivation inherited by our ancestors. Vulcano brand proposes the concept of "Boutique Winery", small editions of young wines elaborated with exquisite quality, therefore contributing to the culture of "wines with soul and identity". The winery is specialist in the production of young wines, in order to keep freshness, this are processed in several fermentations throughout the year. Bodega Vulcano was the first winery in Lanzarote in having a "must bank (unfermented grape juice)", kept at low temperatures. This system has allowed us to produce wine several times a year, obtaining an exquisite quality and freshness. Vulcano de Lanzarote is probably the most recognized brand for the excellence of our wines.

The vine cultivation in Lanzarote is mainly manual and unique in the world. The grapes are grown in a deep hole in the shape of an inverted cone covered with volcanic sand , which protects the plant from wind and keeps the plant moistened. The main local grape variety used is "volcanic malvasia
