The winery is located in one of the most traditional winemaking areas in Briñas, La Rioja (two kilometres from Haro). It is set as a stepping stone on a steep slope over the Ebro River at the base of Sierra Cantabria, including wonderful views to Conchas de Haro and Peñas de Biliblio. The grapes we receive at our bodega come from vines over twenty years old situated in the Sonsierra area, near the Sierra de Cantabria, consisting of small plots some of which are difficult to access and the altitude limits growth. Our more emblematic plots are: the plot on the location called Mocotero which surrounds the winery building and, Los Quiñones with over seventy years, situated known by the name of La Fonsagrada, where a necropolis and a small demolished hermitage from the 11th - 12th century are to be found. It is believed that at that time both formed part of the monastery.

Wines from upper Rioja and Rioja Alavesa made with grapes from Briñas, La Bastida, San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Rivas de Tereso. Wines that reflect the tipicity of each plot.

Our passion is to produce wines with personality  combining tradition and modernity. Each variety ferments in a tank of different material and tank. We give a lot of importance to the separation of plots so that there is maximum expresiveness in the wines.
