Winery Tour & Organic Wine Tasting at Cascina Belmonte on Lake Garda
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience at Cascina Belmonte begins with a welcome from the owner or an experienced member of their team. They will guide you on a tour of the winery, explaining their sustainable, organic approach to winemaking and the unique character of the Valtènesi terroir.
The visit continues with the tasting, held in the estate's garden under the shade of the trees when the weather is good, or on the covered porch or in the indoor tasting room otherwise. You will choose three wines from the winery's selection, which includes Valtènesi Chiaretto rosé, a sparkling rosé, a white from PIWI grape varieties, Rhine Riesling, Manzoni Bianco, an orange wine, the indigenous Naturae Rebo, a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend, or the Fuochi nella Notte di San Giovanni, a complex blend from the oldest vineyards. If you choose one of the upgraded options, you can taste a broader selection of five or seven wines from the estate’s range.
The wines are served with a platter of local specialties: Sabbio Riserva and Formaggella del Monte cheeses, salami, focaccia with Fiocco, and caponata with toasted bread. After the tasting, you are welcome to stay and relax in the peaceful surroundings of the vineyards.

Free parking is available on-site, including a charging station for electric vehicles. Pets are welcome on the property but are not permitted in the production areas.

A most pleasant break surrounded by greenery
The cellar is small but well-maintained and welcoming, the staff is kind and knowledgeable. The outdoor space is beautiful and immersed in greenery. The platter is delicious and the wines are good and very interesting, the rosé definitely has something extra.
I would suggest a slightly more in-depth visit, if possible maybe even with a walk through the vineyards to observe the grapes up close, or even among the herbs of the vegetable garden. I would delve deeper into or present the sound of production (which they have already thought of in a very curious and particular way) in a more immersive way, rather than simply "made to be heard"
Bachelorette party, magnificent
The Wines were exceptional, so much so that each of us decided to stop by the shop before going home.
The owner was extremely cordial and kind and told us the story of the Cascina Belmonte.
