Flavors and Sensations: Wine Tasting with Vinotherapy at Margaval Vinhos

The experience begins with your arrival at the winery, followed by a drive to our vineyards aboard our Defender jeep. Once in the vineyard, a bottle of wine from that very plot will be waiting for you, allowing you to start the experience in a truly unique and immediate way.

During the tour, we share our history, our minimal- intervention production philosophy, and provide a detailed explanation of the vineyards and the viticultural practices we apply, ensuring quality and maximum expression of the terroir.

After this immersion in the countryside, we return to the winery for a tasting of five bottled wines, accompanied by a board of regional products, including cheeses, chorizo, oli ve oil, and other flavours representative of the region. As you taste each wine, we explain how it is made, highlighting the differences between white and red winemaking and detailing what makes each wine special. This entire part of the experience takes place inside the winery, allowing you to fully experience the atmosphere of the space where everything happens.

The experience culminates in our massage room with a couple of wine therapy sessions. Each guest is served a glass of their favourite wine from the tasting, enjoyed alongside a relaxing foot soak with salts. This is followed by a full-body massage using red wine– based oils, designed to revitalize the skin and provide a deep sense of relaxation and well-being.
