When we drove up we actually thought it was closed. It looked like a ghost town with all the flower beds dead and the weeds instead of grass. Especially the 2 large dead planters on either side of the door. But when we tried the door they were open. We were greeted by a very friendly dog. I'm a huge dog lover but the smell of dog and the dirty floors were a big turn off. Then as we sampled the wine ($1.00 for barely a sip when the previous 4 wineries we went that day were ,50) Anyway, the cute dog kept stealing corks and bowls from behind the bar, yeah cute until the server/bar maid put the bowl that was just in his mouth on top of the clean coffee cups. It's one thing to have my own dog slobber on me but not really keen on a strangers dog. The wine was good and we bought 2 bottles. This could be a gold mine if they clean the place up.

Hidden little gems near Vermillion. If you're following Google, drive a few hundred feet further and you'll find it. Wonderful grounds. The facility is located in the middle of the vineyards.

The quality and selection of wines at Vermilion Valley are truly outstanding. No matter your taste in wine their menu of wines will satisfy anyone.From dry to sweet these wines are exceptional.

The very best of Ohio wines. I simply can't drink any other wine now that I've tasted Troutman wines.

Very nice location, comfortable seating area in tastig room. We tried several of their wines which were very good. They have an outdoor seating area but we didn't check it out, had to get back on the road. Will definitely stop back soon.

Great place. I attended a party there and was thoroughly impressed by the venue. Lovely inside and out with great service and amenities. It's a bit tucked away, but absolutely worth going out and experiencing for yourself. It's one of the best options for a gathering in the area and your guests are sure to be impressed.

What a lovely evening. We sat on the couch by the fireplace and enjoyed several small plates...which were really large enough to share and all were fabulous. The meatballs were terrific...better than any I have had elsewhere. The staff was professional and attentive. The décor was beautiful. We will be back.
