Wine was great , the service beware! Due to size of the tasting party, our server tried to up charge the tasting cost to $15 ea from the printed $10 ea per tasting. Totally unprofessional attitude!

Fun! A working wineshop where you taste...

Fun! A working wineshop where you taste in the barrel room. The wines are good, plus its a fun time to work with the actual winemakers. Very laid back , generous pours, we always buy a few bottles to take back home. A great find, we were glad to have stumbled onto it.

I regret Mr. Pauley's experience. Mine, however, has been consistently most pleasing. One visit and a few sips of the various offerings will soon attest to what the other person is missing, that is, if he really enjoys pleasant surroundings, likeable people, and some really great wine. I recommend anyone in the area of VMV to drop by in season and enjoy for a few moments the environment the owners have the privilege of enjoying 365. This is truly a hidden jewel among Virginia wineries. Don't miss it.
