Good wine, good wine tour, beautiful place

Unbelievable experience. Perhaps the coolest place in Napa if you're able to get in.

You have to stop here. The grounds are stunning and the entire experience is amazing. Mo was an excellent guide and just a great guy to talk with. Oh and the wine is outstanding.

The property was beautiful. Our tasting guide, Emily, was friendly and informative. She walked us to a place that overlooked the some of the vineyard property and poured our first glass of wine. It was perfect! We took a tour of the the production areas and caught a glimpse of the winemaker at work. We sat down and were able to enjoy the full tasting in a very relaxing and beautiful room. As always the wines were fabulous. This is a must visit in Napa Valley. Make your reservation & enjoy one of our favorite tasting experiences here.

Completed in 1998, the building was designed by the famous Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, about 2 years before he passed away. This place is a hidden jewel, both for its art and wine, as well as its seclusion. The winery is by appointment only, so be sure to call ahead of your visit.

Yes, it's a little difficult to find. At the end of a long private road, marked only by a sign with several addresses, off the Silverado Trail, there is this truly fantastic architectural confection. Welcomed by the genial and extremely enthusiastic host, eight or nine lucky people taste a range of petit syrahs and cabs, each one richer than the last. Along with the wine, the host presents a rich history of the place, including real estate intrigues, architectural oddities and just plain funny stories. The mix of Viennese, post-war whimsey, shimmering color and a successful attempt to use not a single straight line and windows and doors of which no two are alike, results in an afternoon of warm memories and a resolve to visit again with more fortunate friends.
