Great Cabernet Sauvignon wines and great shaded...
Great Cabernet Sauvignon wines and great shaded patio for enjoying a bottle. We walked the property and received some extra pours of reserve wines from the staff.

Unfortunately a very bad experience.
Bad service.
First, you have to buy the glasses to drink wine.
Second, we were not allowed to sit on the tables outside the winery. They escorted us to drink the bottles of wine we purchased in a picnic area on the side of the property. They told that the tables are only by appointment. No comment about it. I have never made an appointment to go to a winery in Napa.
In other words, we don't want you here.
We had a visitor from New York who wanted to go there but I think it will no longer purchase any wine from this winery again. They ruined the experience.

This place was as amazing. It's a small family place, with intimate and personal tastings. Our host let us taste the 2006 cab so to compare it against the 2012, to show how we could age it. The late harvest Sauvignon blanc tasted like a light honey, delicious!

While the wine was average, it was...
While the wine was average, it was quite lovely to sit and enjoy the wine tasting outdoors. The service was attentive; the wine staff member who served us was chatty and friendly.

It's not a big winery but they...
It's not a big winery but they have complementary wine tasting. The staffs there are very friendly. A friend went there a week ago and did some shopping. This time he brings a big group of 10 and the staffs are exciting to see us. They even let us try a 1998 Cabernet. We do a big shopping this time...

Great place. I'm not cheapskate but maintaining the tradition of a free tasting even in Napa is important to keep this region from becoming an amusement park. Of course their wines are awesome which is why they are still around after all these years.

Really, really disappointed! We should have known...
Really, really disappointed! We should have known not to stop when there was NO ONE else in the winery when we were there. The lady who worked there didn't try to sell us anything, and didn't even seem to know that much about their wines! The Port was decent, but everything else we tasted was sub-par. Outside is beautiful, which is the only reason I even gave it 2 stars. We had high hopes, but the lack of excitement/total lackluster experience was a huge downer....
