I like their cider a lot.
$5 for a tasting of 6 pre-set items they make there (whites, reds, cider, cordials). Most items were on the sweeter side. They let you keep the wine glass.
They also have a bourbon distillery tour - a shuttle ride 5-10 minutes away - the tours is nice, about an hour long, and there is a small tasting at the end and you keep the rocks glass. It's too bad - we went on our tour in between batches so couldn't see the mash live.
The have cider donuts made daily, and at the end of the day they start giving them away. Good for making some bread pudding. :)
In the winter they have a plastic tent set up for the tastings, and it gets pretty crowded.
There's outdoor space as well for nicer weather.

Their cafe is top notch. Packed full on busy weekends, but the food is worth it. Absolutely love their ciders. New favorite is the Hopped Cider.

Easy to find, great prices , friendly...
Easy to find, great prices , friendly staff & great food. Cash only for food . Drinks were pretty cheap too!

Best atmosphere around. My favorite winery in...
Best atmosphere around. My favorite winery in the world. Unlike most other wineries, this one circles around spending time with your friends and family. Dogs and kids are welcome and there is always live music on weekends/holidays.

Our Favorite Vineyard in the area. The wines are all top notch, and the atmosphere is excellent. The customer service is 10/10. Visit on a Sunday during Polo Season for a day full of fun. Having visited for everything from a single glass of wine to a wedding, the King Family has proven their experience in making you feel at home.

The wine was great and we got...
The wine was great and we got to pet a horse! However, if you're looking for food, cheese plate, etc - you may want to go somewhere else. It's a great spot to bring a picnic though. The views are amazing.

Fantastic setting with spectacular views. The wines are lovely, with the Cabernet Franc being the standout. I'd suggest grabbing a glass of your favorite, a warm baguette, some pastrami and cheese for a picnic on the grass.

Kings Winery is always a favorable stop...
Kings Winery is always a favorable stop when visiting the Virginia wineries. This time was no exception as we enjoyed the scenery, evening music, and friendly staff. However, visited several wineries this trip, always buy wine, willingly pay tasting fees, but Kings tasting had the skimpiest pours of any of the wineries we visited. Was a little embarrassed as we were introducing this winery to friends.
