À propos du vignoble et des vins

Accurate and gentle handling of resources is important to us. It is the fertile soil of our daily work in the vineyard. We question every single working step and consider which site offers the best potential. A down-to-earth character and much passion are fundamental, as well as innovation and nature-loving attitude. It is our goal to preserve traditions founded by our ancestors and meliorate them in continuation. Around thirty years ago, my wife Monika and I have dedicated our work to the vinification of high-quality wines. Because it’s quality that counts, not quantity. In the past years, our family business has reached the top rankings of South Tyrolean winemakers – thanks to our effort and hard work, and with many distinctions, prizes and excellent appraisal. But we never forget our ambitions: to continue the steady growth and to remain nevertheless a small but fine, individuall and autarkic winery. For a safe future of our children Daniel, Hannes and Marion.

Les vignobles sont à la base de nos vins uniques et de leur fort caractère. Montagna est un endroit idyllique situé sur la pente orientale, juste au-dessus de Rocca Castelfeder. Une région aux pentes abruptes, aux terrasses précieuses et au climat doux du continent alpin. C'est au cœur de cette zone de production unique que se trouvent nos nouvelles caves à vin à haute efficacité énergétique. Outre Montagna, notre cave possède des vignobles à Cortaccia ainsi qu'à Egna, où poussent nos cépages autochtones comme le Lagrein ou le Vernaccia. Nous disposons ainsi d'une variété naturelle de territoires caractérisés par un sol riche et cultivés par nos soins selon les principes naturels.
