Nice Wine Tour and Tasting at Tenuta La Favola

Sebastian provided a very nice tour and tasting at the winery. We actually arrived two hours early, but Sebastian accommodated us without a problem . After being shown the vineyard and production rooms, we tasted one white and three reds. All were very good, and accompanied by a variety of appetizers. Sebastian was friendly and engaging, and very knowledgeable about local grapes and wine in general. We highly recommend this tour.

Really enjoyable and interesting

Thoroughly enjoyable tour and 5 course light lunch with a glass of wine with each course.. It was just our party of 4, with Sebastian providing interesting information about the vines, growing conditions and process of organic wine making. His English was very good and he was happy to answer all our questions! It is a small set up in a farmhouse, overlooking a pool and countryside so it feels very intimate. We would recommend!

À propos du vignoble et des vins

Dans la campagne au sud de Noto, à l'extrême sud de la Sicile, il y a une zone de terre calcaire appelée Buonivini (bons vins). Ici, depuis cinq générations, notre famille écoute la terre et la cultive. Nous prenons soin de la biodiversité, nous utilisons des énergies renouvelables, nous sommes fiers d'avoir les certifications biologiques italienne et suisse. Nous croyons que l'agriculture et le vin sont culture, histoire, espoir et patience, en un mot, que le vin est la vie.

Nous produisons des vins biologiques à partir de cépages autochtones et non autochtones, comme le Nero d'Avola, le Moscato, le Grillo, la Syrah et le Frappato. Nous utilisons des levures indigènes pour la fermentation après la préparation d'un pied de cuve. Nos vins sont authentiques, biologiques et reflètent parfaitement la zone de production.
