In Mezzolombardo in Trentino, De Varda had been a noble family since 1678. At the beginning of 1800's, great-great-grandfather Michele Dolzan in those same cellars started his activity of distillation art, today at its sixth generation. Passionate heir of traditions and teachings of his father Giovanni, Cavalier Luigi Dolzan together with his sons Michele and Mauro, continues the activity with these deep-rooted ideals, attentive to market changes, with modern technologies, but according to family teachings. Today the sixth generation of the Dolzan family preserves the knowledge of the ancient art of distillation started by Michele Dolzan. An art made of tradition but also of a unique method in continuous evolution. Today, Cavalier Luigi Dolzan and his sons, Michele and Mauro Dolzan, are leading the company into the future.
