Guided Franciacorta Tasting with Local Food at Castello Bonomi

Your visit begins at Castello Bonomi, the only château in the Franciacorta denomination, located on the slopes of Monte Orfano. A member of the hospitality or winemaking team will greet you and guide you through the estate.

The tour follows the winemaking process from the vineyard to the cellar. Weather permitting, you'll start with a walk among the vines to understand the unique minerality of the soil. The visit then continues inside, moving through the barrique cellar and into the ancient vaulted rooms where the wines age.

The experience concludes in the tasting room. Here, you will taste a selection of the estate's classic Franciacorta wines. The specific bottles can vary based on cellar availability, ensuring you sample what is currently at its best. Each wine is paired with a selection of local products, such as salame di Franciacorta, soppressata bresciana, or the aged cheese Silter DOP, chosen to complement the tasting.

Throughout the 90-minute tour, you'll learn about the Metodo Classico process used for Franciacorta, discovering how extended aging and meticulous work in the cellar shape each bottle from this historic estate.
