Full-day Wine tour in Armenia, Aragatsotn Region

We will start our tour with visit to Saghmosavank Monastery, 13th c. located on the right bank of the Kasakh River, in the village of Saghmosavan. We continue to Yeganyans’ Guest House and Wine Yard, family-owned vineyard, with traditions of wine and vodka making. The gem of Yeganyans’ Guest House and Wine Yard is the underground winery where the hosts make high-quality red and white wines. You will have wine tasting and interactive experience, even you will be able to bottle your own wine! Perfect souvenir to take home! Our tour continues to ''Armenia Wine'' company. Started with vineyards plantation in 2006, the winery was founded in 2008. Here we will taste 3 varieties of wine and will visit Wine History Museum of Armenia. The main exhibition hall, located at the level of underground basalt rocks with a depth of 8 meters, presents the chronological stages of the development of wine in Armenia in detail, as well as the relationship of wine with various areas of Armenian history and culture.  And the last visit we will give to winemaker Varuzhan Mouradian at the Van Ardi winery. You will have a tour across the state, vineyard, winery and a belltower, you’ll experience and taste how authentic Armenian wine is made. Let's try the wines from local varieties grown on volcanic soil. Return to Yerevan.
