Discover a curated wine experience in Alentejo, set in the peaceful gardens of a 19th-century estate in Mértola — one of Portugal’s most authentic and unspoiled regions.
At Herdade Foz da Represa, we are not producers, but curators of wine experiences, bringing together a selection of small-production and author wines that truly represent the character of the region. This allows guests to explore a diversity of styles and producers in a single, carefully designed tasting.
In a relaxed and intimate setting, you will be guided through a tasting of nine wines — three whites, three rosés, and three reds. From each category, you will select your preferred wine, which will then be served as a 125 ml glass, for a total of three full glasses.
The experience is complemented by a selection of regional petiscos, thoughtfully prepared to enhance the wines. Depending on the season, this may include local cheeses, charcuterie, pâtés, traditional sweets, fruits, nuts, and other authentic Alentejo flavors.
More than a tasting, this is an opportunity to slow down, connect with the landscape, and experience Alentejo through its wines and gastronomy, away from mass tourism and in a truly local environment.
