Here is what's in store for you

The story of the La Matteraia estate began in the early 1970s, when the Malpaga family, already owners of a winery in Trentino, decided to invest in a farm in Mugello, the "green lung" of Tuscany, and moved to the region a few years later.
From the end of the 70's La Matteraia began the agricultural transformation that would lead them to produce quality wines, and not only, in a perfect union between Trentino and Tuscany.

In this experience you will be welcomed into the estate by a member of the family who will guide you through the winery and vineyards, tell you about the history and philosophy of the company and illustrate the various types of cultivation practiced.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken to the estate's charming garden, overlooking the apple orchards, where you will have the opportunity to participate in a tasting of 3 wines of your choice, accompanied by a large platter of local produce and typical delicacies.

It was a very nice couple of hours. The wines were very good but the apple juice was delicious. The food platters were delicious and plentiful too. I would suggest you skip lunch before going if your booking is around lunch time. Hostesses were very nice too. Highly recommend.
