Guided Tour and Wine Tasting at Clos Roussely in Angé

Upon arrival at our winery, Clos Roussely, we will take you up to our vines. There, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Cher Valley, learn about the history of the Roussely family, and receive an explanation of the wines produced here in Angé. With a bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of one of our horses at work in the vineyard or our team of sheep, who play a vital role in protecting the vines.

Next, we’ll head to the cellar, located in historic caves hand-dug over 300 years ago. There, you’ll discover the different winemaking processes as we guide you past our locally made oak barrels, clay amphoras, and modern equipment such as concrete and stainless steel tanks. And of course, we have a few special surprises hidden in the cellar as well.

Finally — the good stuff! The tour concludes in our boutique, where you'll have the opportunity to taste at least 6 different wines, personalized to your preferences but always highlighting the regional grape varieties of the Loire Valley.
