Cultural Wine Tasting with Chorizo at Bodegas Solar de Samaniego in Rioja Alavesa
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit begins with a welcome from the Solar de Samaniego wine tourism guide, who will introduce you to the Beber Entre Líneas (Drinking Between the Lines) project, a fusion of wine culture and literature that shapes the entire estate. You'll start with a guided walk through the outdoor areas next to the vineyard, whose design was the subject of an international competition with the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Landscapes and Heritage.
The tour continues through the winemaking facilities and into the winery's restored spaces. The experience culminates in the Espacio Medio Millón, a space transformed into a "Cathedral of Wine" by the monumental murals of Australian artist Guido van Helten. Here, you will have a guided tasting of three of the estate's wines: a Rioja Blanco 2025, the single-vineyard Musco 2022 and a 7 Cepas Reserva 2019. The selection of wines may change over time. The tasting is paired with picos (Spanish breadsticks) and chorizo.
