Organic Wine Tasting & Tour with Aperitif at Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini in Vico d'Elsa

Your experience takes place at Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini, a family-owned farm dating back to 1870, located in the medieval village of Vico d’Elsa in the Chianti countryside. You will be welcomed by the owner, Cesare Majnoni, or a member of his hospitality team.

The tour begins with an introduction to the estate’s history, followed by a visit to the vineyard and the old threshing areas. Here, you will learn about the principles of organic and regenerative agriculture and how they apply to natural winemaking. The visit continues to the cellars for an explanation of the winemaking process and the Fattoria's specific approach to wine.

Before the tasting, you will stop on the farm’s panoramic terrace, which overlooks the town of San Gimignano. The experience concludes in the ancient olive oil mill for a tasting of three organic wines: a Spareto white, a Rosé, and a Chianti Superiore. The wines are served with an organic aperitif of shepherd’s ricotta drizzled with the Majnoni Guicciardini olive oil, shepherd’s salami, and Tuscan bread.

Children are welcome and will be offered organic juices, coloring books, and access to the garden, where they can see the farm's tortoises. You can also choose to extend the tour with an optional 30-minute visit to Villa Guicciardini and its garden, exploring local art and architecture from the 11th to the 19th century.
