Guided tour, Wine tasting & Aperitif at Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini in Chianti

Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini welcomes you to our family-owned farm owned since 1870 located in a little medieval village named Vico d'Elsa, in the Chianti countryside, for an immersive wine experience.

The tour begins with a company presentation and historical context. Next, you will visit the vineyard and the old threshers: here you'll learn about the fundamentals of organic and regenerative agriculture and natural winemaking in the 21st century. 

To follow, cellars visit and explanation of the wine-making processes and Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini's enological and cultural concept. You will also have the opportunity to admire the surrounding landscape on the panoramic terrace of the farm, facing San Gimignano. 

A dive into the history of Italian art and architecture (from the 11th century up to the 19th) awaits you next, with a visit to Villa Guicciardini, which housed the patrician families who succeeded one another in the ownership of our historical company. 

To conclude the experience, your wine-tasting experience will occur in the ancient oil mill. You will taste three organic wines; White (Spareto), Rosé, and Chianti Superiore. The wines will be accompanied by an organic aperitif with delicacies like shepherd’s ricotta cheese topped with the farm's organic oil, shepherd’s salami, and Tuscan bread.
